What is AlbumIQ?
AlbumIQ is an AI-powered event photo delivery platform built for wedding photographers, event photographers, and photography studios. It helps you upload event photos, automatically identify guests using AI face recognition, and deliver private photo galleries to clients and guests. You can also manage album selection, secure gallery sharing, watermarking, team collaboration, and automated notifications from one platform.
How does AI face matching work?
Guests register by scanning an event QR code, verifying their phone number with an OTP, and taking a selfie. After you upload the event photos, AlbumIQ compares each registered selfie with every uploaded image using AI face recognition. Every guest automatically receives a private gallery containing only the photos they appear in, while photographers can review confidence scores before publishing galleries.
Can I review AI face matches before guests see them?
Yes. AlbumIQ provides a dedicated review screen before galleries are published. Low-confidence matches are shown first, allowing photographers to quickly confirm or reject matches, move photos to the correct guest, merge duplicate registrations, split incorrect groups, and maintain a complete audit history of every change.
What if AI misses some of a guest's photos?
If a guest notices missing photos, they can simply upload a clearer selfie from their gallery. AlbumIQ automatically re-runs AI face matching for that guest only, and any newly matched photos are added to their gallery without reprocessing the entire event.
How does AlbumIQ pricing work?
AlbumIQ uses pay-per-event pricing instead of a monthly subscription. You can create your studio and events for free, then upgrade only the events you want to deliver. This keeps your software costs aligned with your bookings, making it ideal for wedding and event photographers.
What pricing plans are available?
AlbumIQ offers flexible plans based on event size. Free includes up to 50 photos. Mini (₹499) supports 500 photos and 100 guests for 15 days. Standard (₹999) supports 1,500 photos and 250 guests for 30 days. Premium (₹1,999) supports 5,000 photos and 500 guests for 30 days. Elite (₹3,999) supports 12,000 photos and 1,000 guests for 45 days. Every paid plan includes the complete AlbumIQ feature set.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. You can create a studio account, invite team members, generate QR registration links, and upload up to 50 photos completely free. It's a great way to explore AlbumIQ before upgrading an event.
What happens when my event expires?
Every paid event includes a gallery validity period based on your selected plan. After the validity expires, you can renew the event to continue providing gallery access without losing your event data.
Are my photos secure?
Yes. AlbumIQ stores photos securely in private cloud storage and delivers them using temporary signed URLs instead of public storage links. Galleries can also be protected with passwords, expiration dates, view limits, and guest-specific permissions.
Can I control who can access my galleries?
Absolutely. AlbumIQ lets you create separate share links for clients, family members, VIPs, guests, or the public. Each link can have its own permissions for downloads, image quality, comments, favorites, album selection, password protection, expiry dates, and view limits.
Can I watermark my event photos?
Yes. You can add a custom text watermark, logo watermark, or both. Watermarks can be configured at the studio level and overridden for individual events or gallery share links. Your original files always remain untouched for editing and final delivery.
Are gallery notifications sent automatically?
Yes. After AI face matching finishes, AlbumIQ automatically notifies guests and clients that their galleries are ready. The notification system prevents duplicate emails, retries failed deliveries, and also powers album approval and gallery sharing notifications.
How do clients select photos for their album?
Clients receive a private gallery where they can mark favorites and submit their album selections. AlbumIQ tracks every stage of the approval workflow—from photo selection and studio review to revisions, album design, and final delivery—keeping everyone informed throughout the process.
Can guests download their photos?
Yes. Guests can download all of their matched photos, save only their favorites, or download everything as a ZIP file. Clients can also download original-quality images and complete album selections on paid events.
Do guests need to create an account?
No. Guests simply scan the event QR code, verify their phone number with a one-time password (OTP), and take a selfie. There's no app to install, no username to remember, and no traditional account required.
Can multiple photographers and team members use AlbumIQ?
Yes. AlbumIQ supports Owner, Admin, and Staff roles. You can invite photographers, editors, and assistants with role-based permissions while managing uploads, AI processing, gallery delivery, album approvals, storage, and team activity from a centralized studio dashboard.
Is AlbumIQ only for wedding photographers?
No. AlbumIQ is designed for all event photographers, including weddings, engagements, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, school functions, cultural events, sports events, concerts, and private celebrations.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. AlbumIQ works directly in a web browser. Guests simply scan the event QR code and access their private gallery without downloading or installing an app.
Can AlbumIQ handle large events with thousands of photos?
Yes. AlbumIQ is built for events of all sizes. Depending on your plan, you can upload up to 12,000 photos, manage up to 1,000 guests, generate bulk ZIP downloads, and deliver personalized galleries efficiently.
Can I customize galleries with my studio branding?
Yes. You can personalize galleries with your studio logo, brand colors, website, Instagram profile, phone number, and business details. Your branding appears across galleries, share pages, QR registration pages, and notification emails for a consistent client experience.
Does AlbumIQ support bulk photo downloads?
Yes. Guests and clients can download all of their photos as a single ZIP file. AlbumIQ creates ZIP archives in the background, allowing even galleries with thousands of high-resolution photos to download reliably without freezing the browser.
